About Me
With over 20 years of clinical experience, I have been supporting children, adolescents, men and women dealing with a diverse range of emotional and psychological issues. My career spans diverse environments from rural Australian communities and mining towns to international cities enriching my culturally sensitive approach.
Areas of Interest
- Anxiety & depression (including post-natal)
- Stress management & trauma recovery
- Neurodiversity (ADHD, autism spectrum)
- Gender identity & relationships dynamics
- Disability adjustment & support
- Substance use
- Educational issues and parenting support
Therapeutic approaches
I blend evidence-based methods tailored to individual needs:
- Psychodynamic/schema therapy: Explore lifelong patterns and self-awareness
- Cognitive behavioural frameworks (CBT) & (DBT): Build practical coping strategies
- Mindfulness & ACT: Foster acceptance and values-driven change
- Play therapy: designed primarily for children, where toys, games, and creative activities are the medium that supports therapeutic conversations
Drawing from my French heritage, sessions incorporate warmth, humour, and creative metaphors to create a safe space for emotional exploration. I view therapy as a science and an art, a collaborative journey toward growth.
